Our OST midnight Harry Potter party included:

....Sarah, Becka, Maggie, Kitty, Annie, Amy, Laura, Victoria, Simone...
...Cavanaugh, Alex, Sarah, Sarah, Kiely, Kasey, Sean, Polly, Elissa, Juliana, and Elissa!
It was an evening (well, OK, so it was a morning) to remember.
After a very long day (and you have no idea HOW long unless and until you've lived through an Okoboji day), thirty-something Stephens women (and a man or two) costumed up (fab, absolutely fab) and headed over to the local cinemaplex on Tuesday at midnight (well, some of us went MUCH earlier than that....) to join the millions of Potter fans across the country determined to meet the half-blood prince.
First.
And I do mean FIRST. Here in Okoboji, thanks to a very good friend at the theater, the OST crowd got to slide in the side door and claim the best seats in the house. You should have seen the faces of the folks who walked in when the front doors opened....and found the theater already half full.
I'm not a line jumper. But hey, as one of our OST-ers explained to an indignant townie: "We're from the Okoboji Summer Theater....we work ALL THE TIME. We don't have the TIME to come over here and wait in line...."
I mean, really.
A few of the high points:
Bellatrix Lestrange was there (thanks to Kitty Flynn):
....and so was Mrs. Weasley (thanks to Katie Deshazo [and that's Laura Knutzen and Sarah Dix-Martin) behind her]):
Sarah Casey, Victoria Hanavan, Rachael Rogers (as Professor Minerva McGonagall), and Betsy Shirey:
Hermione Granger (Amy Wenzl) and Professor McGonagal:
And everybody else!
