Pay no attention to the woman in front of the green screen.
She has no idea what's going to happen on Friday morning.
(OK, so it said something about snow showers when we checked a few days ago, but that was DAYS ago. Now it says something about partly rainy, but again, remember that butterfly..).
So mark your calendars, grab your banners (or your friends' banners), and plan on joining us for what I promise will be the most fun presidential inauguration in the history of such events.
And just so you know, you do get leadership points for being there. In fact, the folks in charge of such things have decided to create a system of prizes you are eligible to win -- just by showing up. (I, myself, would love to believe that you will all show up simply because this is an important day for Stephens, and it's an historic event in the college's history, and I have invited you to my party and if you invited me to yours, I would definitely be there....but just in case that's not going to convince you, we also have the opportunity for you to win a flat-screen television!).
Here's how it will work:
The Inauguration Passport will be stamped at each event attended. By attending 3 out of the 5 events,
you will be eligible to submit your Inauguration Passport into a drawing for the chance to win some greatprizes! Please pick up an Inauguration Passport at the Red Sock Hop on Wednesday, October 28 or
Student Services anytime on Thursday, October 29.
Prizes: First Place: 19” Flat Screen TV, Second Place: IPOD Nano; Third Place: $75 in ITunes gift cards
ALL INAUGURATION PASSPORTS MUST BE TURNED INTO STUDENT SERVICES BY
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE DRAWING AND TO RECEIVE LEADERSHIP POINTS!
Parking: LRW and library parking lots will close Thursday, October 29 at 6 p.m.
These lots are open only for guests on Friday, October 30. This will be strictly enforced.
