We love Columbia.
It's cozy, it's familiar, it's college-town-America, and it's way fun.
It's also right smack in the middle of these amazing United States -- a wonderful place to become your best self.
But we live in a global environment, a world made smaller (and smaller) by the technologies that connect us across time and space in ways we couldn't have even imagined a decade ago.
And as global citizens in a rapidly changing world, our opportunity -- and our obligation -- to understand and experience cultures different from our own have never been greater.
That means it's time for YOU to think about studying abroad -- in India, Ireland, Australia, China, Madagascar....if you can dream it, you can do it.
And the first step is to talk to our Study Abroad coordinator, Lynda Baumgartner, and to stop by Columbia Foyer on Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon to talk to Beth Calvert, a representative from International Studies Abroad (ISA), which coordinates study abroad programs around the world.
I promise: Stephens and Columbia will be here when you get back. In many ways, the only thing that will have changed is....you.
