Back to blogging: It's time to VOTE. And VOTE. And VOTE. (It's summer. You have time. Right?)

The days are longer, the pace is slower, and the temperatures (at least here in Columbia) are the kind that drive you (well, me) into the basement.  

The good news is, there's no cable down there, but somehow the Internet seems still to be working.

 That means I have lots of time for blogging (hurrah! here I am!) and for voting....over and over and over again.

For what, you ask? (You do ask that, right?)

For Elizabeth Manresa, one of our amazing alumnae, who is auditioning between right this minute and July 3 for the Oprah Winfrey show's "have your own talk show" competition.

Elizabeth needs our support, our best wishes and OUR VOTES.

Here's all you need to do:

Go to the competition site.

Watch Elizabeth.

And vote.

Yes, it's true: we're a couple million votes behind the frontrunners.  But we have until July 3 to make up the difference.   And if anybody can do it....well, you know we can.

And when it's your turn, your competition, your votes, we'll do it for you, too.
